Announcement & Kickstarter: When Other People Saw Us, They Saw the Dead

Announcement Link

So, hey, it turns out that I can finally announce a couple of things! One: I’m still alive (which is important) and fully vaccinated! Not only that, I’m still reading. But that’s not why we’re here.

I’m here to announce that I’m going to be part of a BIPOC Gothic Anthology Collection! You can find me on the announcement link above under L.C. Star!

I’m writing the short story called “Reincarnated Rose” and here’s the summary:

During the Aeon of Twilight Passing, necromancers and those connected to the dead are put to death as an effort to appeal to the humans who are coming to Emain. Selena Thornton, a 16-year-old witch who channels and communicates with the dead, must escape if she were to live as the last remaining member of her family. However, she eventually meets a young priest named Adam Willis who happens to be on his travels. The problem, though, both of their ghosts still haunt them even after they leave Emain.

You have until June 26, 2021 to throw in support and keep in mind that this isn’t just for the anthology – it’s also for a poetry book by Anna Cheung entitled Where Decay Sleeps and a horror novel by Joanna Corrance entitled The Gingerbread Men.

Please show support by donating or even sharing to those you’d know who’d appreciate gothic horror! Thank you so much for continuing to support me and this blog thus far! This will be the first step of many steps to becoming a published author!

About Lily

A fujoshi who won't shut up about anime, manga, video games, BJDs, nendoroids, and anime conventions. She apparently can't stop writing either.
